In the VOA article ‘President Trump’ Worries Some International Studentsauthor Pete Musto cites findings of a recent Study in the USA student survey, and goes on to quote CEO Renait Stephens regarding her take on the current climate in the international student community.

The Study in the USA survey, which was conducted via email during the second half of October, asked 1000 students from 130 countries how they would feel if a) Hillary Clinton and b) Donald Trump were elected president.  Results showed that 65 percent of students surveyed would be less likely to study in the U.S. if Donald Trump were elected president.
When asked how Study in the USA plans to respond to worry and speculation from international students and their parents, Stephens replied, "It’s early days. And until we know something more about any policy changes, then I think we just have to really emphasize that and hope that our education system will continue to be how it is right now. So right now we’re just trying to reassure students that nothing has changed. U.S. campuses are still safe. They’re still open. They’re still diverse. And you still get a fantastic education.“
